Working as a Customer Service Representative is not an easy job, you will face a lot of challenges along the way especially when dealing with customers and maintaining your metric score at the same time. In the long run, you will realize how tiring work is and balancing everything. I gave up my free/personal time, I don't have time for family, loved ones and friends anymore, going back and forth riding PUJ as transportation (quite costly because I live far from the office), I can't celebrate or attend special occasions because I need to work, we need to work on holidays as well, working on the graveyard shift and sometimes the day off is on weekdays. I spend usually more hours on sleep to gain strength. I can't imagine how challenging and hectic work life is. I came through a lot of realizations but I didn't regret the job because it taught me a lot of things. It's one of the reasons for who I am today but sometimes we need to think of which is more beneficial to us.

Before working as a Virtual Assistant/Freelancing is an attractive option for me but I didn't give in for some reason. In this time of crisis, it gave me an opportunity to start online job hunting. Since I don't want to risk without any knowledge or "know-how" about the field, I looked online for Freelancing course and viola! The Filipino Virtual Assistance saved my day. I think that It was truly meant for me to come across them.

I enrolled at the time I saw FVA online and currently, it gets me busy doing the portfolios which are very interesting. Still developing and learning new skills with the help and guidance of Coach Julmar Grace Locsin, she didn't miss any follow-ups on where I am on my portfolios, and if I'm having difficulties she's one chat or email away.

Compared to other jobs out there, freelancing has the advantage that people will look forward to such as freedom of time, flexibility of location, opportunity to earn more, a chance to experiment with your craft, and most of all, become a better human being. Freelancing careers can be described as the epitome of success. It ends up evolving a person into a better individual. Appreciate the beauty of life, something that’s uncertain, yet beautiful and worth living.

So, to the newbies out there, be equipped and develop more your skills. Ask advice and guidance from the experts by enrolling yourself in online courses. Working from home, on your set schedule, from your own comfort, and making big money is not always as glamorous as it might seem. Becoming a Virtual Assistant and mastering it requires time and patience, along with some smart work.
